The Jag program is off to a great start. I along with my students, are very excited to start this new program here at Parsons Middle School. We have 27 student enrolled and they are an amazing group! So far this year we have been learning about being successful and creating short and long term goals. We have also started learning about Leadership. An important part of the JAG program is the Career Association, as we call it, The JAG Club. This involves community service, fundraising and Leadership roles. Our election day for the JAG club was on September 10th. Each class elected 3 officers, President, Vice President and Secretary. For the 7th grade class President – Zion Natt, Vice President – Ashley Lee, Secretary – Jamesia Jackson. For 8th Grade President – Tyreece Kindrick, Vice President – Atrayu McSherry and Secretary – Tatum Brown. Congratulations to our winners and all of our members who ran for an office. You guys did great!!
